Return Controls

RMA Required

Return, repair, or replacement work should begin with a Return Material Authorization and written support review.

Inspection Gate

Returned hardware may require intake inspection, failure review, configuration capture, and contamination or export screening.

Custom Builds

Made-to-order, configured, used, damaged, software, consumable, and mission-specific items may be ineligible or subject to separate terms.

Return Flow

Returns should be handled like mission hardware: documented, authorized, inspected, and closed with a durable record.

01 Open Support Case

Customer contacts Cosmic Construct with order reference, item identifier, failure notes, photos, and requested resolution.

02 Receive RMA Decision

Support confirms whether the item qualifies for return, repair, replacement, credit, or additional engineering review.

03 Ship Authorized Item

Customer ships only after written authorization and follows packaging, carrier, insurance, and documentation instructions.

04 Inspect And Decide

Cosmic Construct inspects the item and determines refund, repair, replacement, partial credit, rejection, or additional quote path.

05 Close Record

Support closes the record with accounting, inventory, warranty, and engineering notes for future reliability review.

Refund, Repair, Or Replacement

Approved outcomes may include refund, replacement, repair, store credit, partial credit, warranty service, or rejection of the request. The final outcome should depend on order terms, item condition, warranty coverage, and inspection results.
